Four people who attended the Walk Together event in Heaton Park, Manchester with their Aching Arms Bears Two Aching Arms Bears wrapped up and sitting on a table in Heaton Park, Manchester for the Aching Arms Walk Together Event

23/08/2024

On Wednesday, 21st August, the rain stopped just in time for our evening Walk Together event, in Heaton Park, Manchester.

Bereaved parents and friends came together for a gentle stroll, enjoying the beautiful surroundings of the park and the chance to connect.

The evening turned out to be lovely, despite the earlier wet weather and was filled with some meaningful conversations and quiet moments of reflection.

Our Aching Arms bears also made a special appearance, accompanying us on the walk as a reminder of the precious babies that we hold in our hearts.

The walk was followed by tea and biscuits, sharing words of support. It was a comforting time to be in each other’s company, reminding us that we aren’t alone in our grief.

Thank you to all those who attended and to our trustee Mel and volunteer Delphine who led the walk.
