We rely on donations and the support of our amazing fundraisers. The vital funds you raise ensures we can continue to offer comfort and support to bereaved families across the UK.

There are many different ways to get involved, whether you take part in one of our campaigns, host your own fundraising event, or take on a sporting challenge, we will be delighted to welcome you to Team Aching Arms.

Thank you for everything you do to raise money for us. Your kindness will bring comfort to many and our work quite simply couldn’t happen without you.

If you would like to discuss your fundraising ideas or have any questions, please contact our Community and Events Fundraising Officer, Ilana Manning at fundraising@achingarms.co.uk or on 07557 742825.

Taking part in Miles in Memory gave us the space and focus to honour our son, Leo. We really cherished the time – it was a new way to create memories and channel our grief.

Donate a Bear for Christmas 2024

Donate a Bear for Christmas 2024

Many families find great comfort in donating Aching Arms bears, and for them it's a special way of remembering their baby at Christmas. So, every Christmas we invite you to dedicate a bear in memory of a baby special to you.

Each soft and cuddly Aching Arms bear wears a personalised label that is lovingly handwritten with the name of the baby in whose memory the bear was dedicated. The label also connects families to sources of information, support and understanding. The bear you donate will be gifted to another bereaved family which extends the arm of friendship and helps other bereaved parents to know they are not alone.

When donating a bear for Christmas, our supporters have the option of their baby’s name being added to a wreath on our beautiful ‘Robins Appear’ graphic, along with other precious babies being remembered, which will be shared across our social media pages throughout November and December, culminating with a montage on Christmas Eve.

Donate a Bear for Christmas will be back in 2025.

Christmas Giving 2024

Christmas Giving 2024

This Christmas, we will help bereaved families to feel less alone. Whether it’s the first Christmas without their baby or the 20th, we are here to offer comfort and support, and hold their hand.

To do this, we rely on voluntary donations and the wonderful warmth and generosity of our amazing donors ensures we can continue our vital care-driven work. Your kindness will bring comfort to families when they need it most.

Show your support for Aching Arms this festive season. Could you:

Be a seasonal star and ‘give it up’ to do good this festive season - donate the cost of that extra box of mince pies, chocolates, or biscuits.  Donate the cost of your usual morning coffee, cuppa, or cheeky hot chocolate.

Be an Aching Arms £1 Warrior and take on our spare change challenge - gather all the spare change you have at home, in your car, on your work desk, round it up to the nearest pound and donate.

Get creative and festive in your workplace with your seasonal giving - host a Christmas jumper/festive fancy dress day, host a Christmas quiz, hold or a Christmas bake sale or festive afternoon tea with proceeds being donated to Aching Arms.

You can donate to our Christmas Giving campaign here.

Customise your eCard with your own festive message and choose whether to send different messages to each eCard recipient, or the same message to everyone.

Christmas eCards will be back in 2024.
