Gift Aid
Increase your impact and boost your donation to Aching Arms by 25% at no extra cost to you!
Gift Aid is a simple way to increase the value of your gift. However you choose to donate to Aching Arms and whatever the amount, simply by choosing to Gift Aid it, HMRC will add an extra 25p to every £1 you give. So, if you donate £10, it is worth £12.50 to us with HMRC paying the extra £2.50.
Given you are a UK taxpayer, for us to claim Gift Aid on your donation, all you need to do is make a Gift Aid declaration. If you are donating to us via an online platform, please just tick the Gift Aid declaration box at the time you donate.
If you would like us to claim Gift Aid on the donations you have kindly made to Aching Arms in the past four years, please complete one of the following forms and send it to us at getinvolved@achingarms.co.uk

To simplify matters, the declaration wording normally covers present, future, and past donations. Therefore, so long as you are eligible, we can continue to claim until you tell us otherwise.
Gift Aid is a valuable source of income and helps to fund our ongoing work to bring comfort and support to bereaved families following the loss of their baby. Please remember to Gift Aid it!

How to pay your money in
You’ve done something amazing by fundraising for Aching Arms in support of our ongoing work to help bereaved families. Thank you, it means so much to us and really does help make a difference.
If you have an online fundraising page, such as Virgin Money Giving or JustGiving, then you don’t need to do anything. The money that has been donated to your page, by family and friends in support of your efforts, is sent to us directly. However, please send us any money you have raised offline.
For money raised offline and cash donations collected via sponsor forms, the easiest way to send such money to us is to first pay the money in to your own bank account and then send it to Aching Arms via one of the following options:
1. Online donation
You can use your debit card, credit card, or PayPal Donate to make an online donation to Aching Arms via Enthuse.

2. Send a cheque
Please make your cheque payable to ‘Aching Arms’ and include a note of your name and event/fundraising details. Post to: The Treasurer, Aching Arms, 33 Victoria Road, Brentwood, Essex, CM14 5DR.
3. Bank transfer or pay into bank
If you prefer this option, please contact us at getinvolved@achingarms.co.uk and we can provide the bank account details.
Where relevant, please remember to send us your paper sponsor forms to ensure we can claim any Gift Aid on your donations.
