George Eliot Hospital in Nuneaton

George Eliot Hospital in Nuneaton is the latest hospital to work with Aching Arms bears and here are some of the bears that have just been delivered there. Other hospitals that have come on board recently include North Middlesex Hospital, Enfield, Greater London and Little Havens Hospital in Essex, which brings the total number of hospitals working with us to 47.

Aching Arms volunteers happy to be at family fun day

New hospitals working with us

In the last couple of months five new hospitals have agreed to work with us to offer our comfort bears. The latest hospitals to come on board are Derriford Hospital, in Plymouth, Glangwili Hospital, Carmarthen, Wales,  Kingsmill Hospital, in Sutton-in-Ashfield, Nottinghamshire, and John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford, St George’s Hospital, London and Royal Calderdale Hospital, Halifax. This brings the total number of hospitals working us to 42.

Aching Arms represented at baby loss meeting

Voluntary ambassadors pilot a success

Nottingham Tea Party to be held this weekend

A fundraising Teddy Bear’s Tea Party will be held on Sunday, April 3, in Nottingham. Katie Keating is hosting the event, which will be held at Pole Palais Studios, Church St, Basford, from 3pm-5pm and will feature face painting, a raffle, light refreshments, character meet and greets and children’s party games.
